At Island Xpressions Hair & Beauty Studio, our story was born from both love and lived experience.

For years, we saw a growing need in the Victoria and Langford area, individuals and families with Afro-textured, curly, coily, and mixed hair searching not just for a salon, but for a trusted beauty destination where their hair was understood, their culture was respected, and their experience felt intentional and elevated.

Island Xpressions officially opened its doors in August 2025 with a clear purpose: to create a professional Black-owned hair salon in Langford where beauty, culture, and care come together seamlessly. Today, we proudly offer much more than braiding and extensions. We are a full-service beauty studio providing expert textured hair care, luxury nails and pedicure services, precision barber services and fades, men’s cuts, women’s haircuts, hair colouring, bridal styling, head spa treatments, and professional hair services.
